What if cats were not just cats, but little people that lived among us? The catfolk, catboys and catgirls mix human and feline traits together and live along human society. Some are beloved pets, some have jobs and lives and others are strays and outcasts. That's the world of Patchel, a young 16 year old Turkish Angora catboy. Once part of a wealthy family, he lost his place and now must find a way to survive and hopefully climb his way back to the top on his own merits.

Privileged by purebred birth, his youth was spent with a wealthy family where he enjoyed the finest education and amenities. However, as he grew older, the pressures of living up to his parents' expectations became overwhelming. At the young age of only sixteen years old, he was cast out of his home and found himself alone on the streets.
First thing he saw: The circus was hiring. A way to prove his worth? He hoped he could show off some of his ballet skills. But he found not amazement but amusement from the people who did find him ridiculous. His talents were a joke. Disgraced, disillusionend, his hopes of being a famous dancer dashed, the idea was forgotten as soon as the opportunity was lost. He departed the circus and kept drifting and in this becoming a part of the very world he had looked down upon once upon a time, the city's underbelly, the poor and struggling, criminals, vagabonds, ferals. Having no other choice, he turned to less legitimate means just to make his daily bread. An episode of his life he's ashamed of. With his natural skills and agility, he turned to the art of picking people's pockets. "I never took more than I needed," he insists, "and I always returned the rest along with a... a little apology note."
It has been a long journey for Patchel since then. He was fortunate to find an honest job. He works at Moggy's Café, a little cat café making a meager living. His motivations are clear: To prove himself and get rich by any means available to him. He spends his days at his minimum wage job, the casino, or the garage - no the "alternative accommodation" where he lives for now.
